Tentative Court Ruling

Alfredo TerrazasWe applaud Judge Burger-Plavan for continuing to withstand the efforts of the nefarious Alfredo Terrazas to remove her from this case.

Dr. Sinaiko's appeal of the Medical Board decision of 1999 is being reviewed - we hope - this month by Judge Trena Burger-Plavan of the California Superior Court. After several judges had been removed or excused, the original tentative ruling date was set for April 24, 2003. This date was postponed several times, but is currently scheduled for

2 p.m., Thursday, September 11, 2003.

On this portentious date, Judge Burger-Plavan is expected to issue a tentative ruling based solely on documents previously submitted to the Court. If the tentative ruling is acceptable to both Dr. Sinaiko and the Medical Board, it will become a final ruling. If either side finds the tentative ruling unacceptable, the Judge will hear oral arguments the next day. at 2 p.m. Friday, September 12 at the Superior Court building, 720 Ninth Street, Sacramento, CA, Department 26 (4th floor).

If oral arguments are held, we would like you to attend in a show of support for Dr. Sinaiko. But, please, check back here or call Karen Scott (408-251-1402) to make sure oral arguments will actually be taking place before you travel to the Courthouse.
